Ava's Monologue for A Part In Willie Wonka

This was funny...
Ava has been saying a lot of funny things lately! I so love this stage when words and thoughts come flowing out all of the sudden!!! So I quickly grabbed the camera in this case.
Well, here is a video of her stating the part when Willie Wonka says,
"Good Morning Star Shine (though Ava is saying 'sunshine'), the Earth says Hellooo!"

have fun watching...

Happy Birthday Carson!!!!!!

It's Another Birthday!!!

Carson reminded me yesterday that it was his turn to have a video done of him-because this has become a tradition for this years Birthdays.
I responded, "You're Right!!!" He was so excited!
So it is finally finished!

Carson is what you call, "our joy boy!" He brings such JOY to our family and makes us laugh...
I LOVE how each child brings a different blessing or characteristic to our family that I couldn't imagine life without.
The song(s) chosen for each child's video, reminds me of something special about each of them personally.
"Jesus Came to Earth" is Carson's favorite song, and has been since the Awesome God CD first came out.

So here is a video of our Carsy boy!!!

Enjoy!!

Isabel's First Word!!!!!!!!!!

Just think for the first time in our Dahl Family History-You get to witness a Dahl Baby's first word! This is also the first time I have recorded any of my kids first words in any way,
accept for memory...
My Mom is the one that usually records first words or little sayings by writing them down. I just have never been that kind of Mom to write everything down...
yet, I do blog now so I guess that counts for something.
Anyway, this is a momentous occasion!!

In this first video I am encouraging Isabel to say "Hi" and of course she does not.
In the second video-she actually does it and waves at the same time!!
So please join us in seeing Isabel say her first word,
Enjoy!!!!

Our New Home

Asbury Chapel

Please come by and see us!

Well, the Lord has so graciously and kindly allowed us to move into our new home! We love it so much!! It truly fits our family well.
We are on 2 acres of land with mostly woods covering 1 1/4 acres or so (what a blessing!!). The kids are just loving the yard and trees!!
We have not walked the whole property, yet. Beyond the trees is where the land dips and then there is a creek. We will walk the property sometime in the winter when the leaves are all gone, then we can truly see what the land looks like.
The creek runs behind our property and our neighbors on both sides, I don't know how far though. Speaking of neighbors we have moved right next to Mickey and Jane Connolly-for those of you who know them! I have known them since I was 4 years old.?-Around there. And Mickey is now the Senior pastor of our church. So it's neat to be living right next to them!

We love being in our own home now and it's so nice to be able to make changes according to my own taste!

Please you are welcome to come by and say Hey!!!

Here are some pictures of our new place!! Please note: I mention "The Man Room" in the video. This is Stefan's big project for the shed. It's wired with/for electricity so it's ready to set up as a guy area-as he plans it to be...it is now his tool shed and a storage area for our stuff-but we still call it The Man Room.

Welcome Isabel Caroline Dahl!!

She is here!

God is good!

Looking back and remembering how challenging things were with the placental tear I had and bleeding at 9 weeks, it is amazing that Isabel is here with us now. Because of the Lord's kindness, He had protected her and kept her safe with all that was going on inside my body, as well as having to go through extensive tests in the ER. At one point, we truly thought we had lost this baby.
Due to the encouragement and support of dear friends and family, I had learned so much more about the Sovereignty of God. How His ways are too wonderful for me to comprehend. I am amazed to be holding this little one today!
It wasn't the doctor's that could sustain the life of this little one, it was the Sovereign hand of God.

The labor went very smoothly. It wasn't painless but I was glad to experience true labor-especially since this will be our last baby.
She was born 7lb. 1oz., 21 1/2in., a 9 on APGAR scale, a perfectly healthy baby girl!

Thanks to all of those who's prayers and help have been for Isabel and I, also for our whole family. Also to our parents who have played a vital role in serving our family in numerous ways. YOU guys are such a means of God's grace in our lives!!

Most of all thank you to our Savior for keeping her safe.

We are grateful that you rejoice with us!!

With Love,
Stefan, Erika, Kayla, Gavin, Carson, Ava, and Isabel
