God is good!
Looking back and remembering how challenging things were with the placental tear I had and bleeding at 9 weeks, it is amazing that Isabel is here with us now. Because of the Lord's kindness, He had protected her and kept her safe with all that was going on inside my body, as well as having to go through extensive tests in the ER. At one point, we truly thought we had lost this baby.
Due to the encouragement and support of dear friends and family, I had learned so much more about the Sovereignty of God. How His ways are too wonderful for me to comprehend. I am amazed to be holding this little one today!
It wasn't the doctor's that could sustain the life of this little one, it was the Sovereign hand of God.
The labor went very smoothly. It wasn't painless but I was glad to experience true labor-especially since this will be our last baby.
She was born 7lb. 1oz., 21 1/2in., a 9 on APGAR scale, a perfectly healthy baby girl!
Thanks to all of those who's prayers and help have been for Isabel and I, also for our whole family. Also to our parents who have played a vital role in serving our family in numerous ways. YOU guys are such a means of God's grace in our lives!!
Most of all thank you to our Savior for keeping her safe.
