Growing Pains...but Good Growing pains

Well, life has been so full of....well....LIFE!
(a big sigh)
Thank you all for your sweet comments on the pictures in my prior post-thank you, thank you :)
I really enjoy taking pictures of life's happenings!

As For Quick update
:
It's funny how life takes so many different turns.
The Lord has been at work in our life as a family, (He always is), though I have been so much more aware of His hand in the circumstances of life.
I am being stretched beyond what I ever could have imagined! I think our whole family is!
Growing pains of teenage-hood; homeschooling; training our 5 kids-biblically, growing spiritually; organizing our home, investing and prioritizing our marriage; serving in our church; having fun while doing all that, and lastly finding time for myself (which I am thinking is very high on my list now so that I have the energy to invest). I find it interesting...when I read Proverbs 31, this example of a Godly woman had, how many maid servants?
Yes, I realize that I am the only maid servant in this house.
(Accept Kayla is a Great help-I might add!)
So Lord how do I do all this-how do I balance all these things on my plate?
Those have been the areas in which the Lord is working and pruning me in.
He has been soo faithful to bring me through the frustration and trials of learning and growing. Yet, all that to say, I may share at some point the different things God is revealing...
Though...for now
on to the next post...

Quiet and Peaceful Today...

The Lord is doing such a work in my heart lately. I have been walking through many circumstances that the Lord is using to test, stretch, and mold me into His likeness. It has not been easy for me -rather very stressful to the point where my body is tired physically and reacting to these circumstances.
Though today, I am truly at peace. Though the storms still are raging about, this is the first time in a very long time, that I have felt peaceful in my spirit...God is at work...
(more about this later)...

Getting Ready!!

Today is one of those "crazy" days, yet i sense the Lords kindness and peace as we try to pack for our beach trip tomorrow. Due to the limited amount of gas-whoo, boy, God is using that to test my character to remain cheerful amidst the many duties that 'I' had on my agenda. Yes there are a lot of unexpected trips and errands that came up that I must face but that's OK!! I was encouraged to remain calm, peaceful, cheerful, kind to my children, joyful-oh yes! The Lord has refreshed me with His Holy Sprit to obey His Word!! The day is going wonderful despite the many obstacles!

I know there will be a wonderful reward to come-yes eternity-but more immediate?
a wonderful relaxing time at the beach!!

God's Everlasting Love...

Our God is faithful, isn't He?

We have been doing I know, better than we deserve!! God is kindly healing my body day by day. Medication is working wonderfully still. I have been exercising faithfully, walking and running on the treadmill-I did 1.9 miles today. It felt so good. I am trying to work up to running the whole time but my body is not that strong yet. I used to run faithfully after I had Carson and then-well lets just say, I got pregnant and pregnant. I am realizing much more now, after having so many kids, the importance of being healthy and making sure I am taking good care of myself the best that I can for the Lord and for the sake of my family.
Also I am learning how to make the time to do that.
Yes, over time the Lord is revealing many new things in my life through all of this, one major scripture that He has so vividly placed in my heart is the assurance of His love for me as His daughter-His everlasting love...
(I love the simple truth that the Word says about 'Nothing can separate His children from His love, not even tribulation or distress.') What I thought was so neat...I looked up the word "distress" in the dictionary because that is what I have been diagnosed with-here is what the dictionary said:

1. To cause strain, anxiety, or suffering to.
1. Anxiety or mental suffering.
a. Severe strain resulting from exhaustion or an accident.
b. Acute physical discomfort. 2. great physical pain

Now here is what God's Word says!!!!

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be [8] against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. [9] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written,

“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
