Little Ava, crying and crying!!
I hear the door creaking open...
I quickly go into the room...there she is standing by the door prepared to come out of the room in tears.
I quickly go into the room to sooth her saddened state.
So I lay down beside her.
As I lay beside her I begin to sing, "The Gospel Song".
Her cries begin to soften...Her breaths begin to calm.
Slowly, slowly, she begins to go to sleep.
As I lay there I began to remember back to one of the very first posts I ever did on this blog...
I remember wondering what is life going to be like with baby #5?
How am I going to be able to cuddle and meet the sweet baby needs of 2 little ones, let alone 3 bigger ones?
I don't often lie down with Ava to put her to sleep, Daddy is the "key" to that now. Yet, the Lord blessed me with a few minutes with her tonight.
She fell asleep in my arms tonight...
My baby Ava....not only that...I prayed for her salvation. I love holding them and praying for their salvation!! Especially when they are quiet and still.
She is still now and asleep!!!
Thank you Lord for those meaningful and wonderful moments you give me as a Mom!!!
