Girls Day Out...

I am sooo relieved to have a weekend where we werent doing much at all.
As a matter of fact, we mainly just did what came to mind.
The girls and I went shopping on Saturday which was a fantastic time!!!
Kayla was thinking we should make a shopping spree tradition with just us girls!! I thought that was a great idea! I am realizing how fun it is to have girls and the older they get, honestly, the more fun it is!!! So I had an 11 yr. old, a 3 yr. old, and a 1yr. on a shopping frenzy all in one afternoon!!
What a blast!!!
First we went to Cracker barrel, then to Garden Ridge, then onto Kohls which was having a 70-80% sale that day. I was trying to find a dress for Kayla so she could dress up for her Daddy as they went on a date together, (which planning is still in the works). While we were in Kohl's Ava was roaming around of course. Yes, it's not that easy to keep a 3yr. old in the stroller while looking at shoes, especially when you have nothing, sadly, to occupy her-wait, we did have candy but we already used that. As Kayla and I began to look, she decided to help herself to the array of colorful, high-healed shoes. She began to try on pair after pair while trouncing around like a little lady.
Though by the time we were ready to depart the store, Ava in all "innocence" could not recall the location of her pink shoes, (the ones she actually wore to the store). So Kayla and I began to look thoroughly up and down every isle-there was still no sight of Ava's pink shoes! We were extremely puzzled, looking in many of the boxes hoping to locate a pair of bright, hot pink, pair of shoes, amongst all the other bright pairs of hot pink shoes..
So at the time, much to our disappointment, we were unable to locate the missing pink shoes...
Ava was not distraught however. She very much enjoyed the experience of being barefoot in a store!

So now Ava is one pair of shoes-shoe less...

Oh well!!! At least they weren't her best pair!

Even so the Lord will provide her another pair of shoes!!

Though we had a great time and will remember it...these were awesome memories in the making.
