KING DADDY

"Mommy, Mommy...My King Daddy is gone, I lost him at work, he is gone!"
As I encounter little Ava's saddened voice this morning.

"What honey?" Trying to understand her meaning.
"My Daddy, he is gone, I lost him, at work!"
"Do you mean Daddy?"
"Yes", she said with such sorrowful/disappointed eyes and voice.

"Well, do you want to call him and leave a message on his phone?"
Of course this made her feel so much better.

And so she did...
she left her little message for him,

of how she misses her "King Daddy" and thought she had lost him.

How sad, but how sweet!

What a wonderful thing to be thought of as your little daughter's king, and to remember that she's your little princess too.
What a great way to be able to point her to an understanding who Jesus the King will be to her one day.
Love that princess Stef!
