Carson's Thoughts...

I love listening to stories that kids tell...
As a busy Mom I can so easily forget the interesting, funny, or thoughtful things my kids say in a matter of minutes. I am very much trying to work on this so that is why I must post.

As I was standing and skimming over the HUGE calendar on our wall...
Carson approaches out of the blue...

"Mom, I am going to have every day off when I get bigger."
Mommy, "Oh really, why?"
Cars, "Because, I am going to be a pastor when I grow up."

Mommy, "Oh...so why would you have every day off?"

Carson-"Because I will be the one to make up the rules for the church."

"Oh???", I say

Carson, "So I will have Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays off."

Mommy-"I see, you know being a pastor is a very noble thing to do."

"Mmmhmm...", he says

Carson-"God told me to be a pastor, that is all He said. He said nothing else.
God just told me to be a pastor"

Mommy, "Wow, that is really neat buddy! OK, then you must be obedient to the Lord if that is what He has called you to do!"

(As a big hug and big smiles end this "little" conversation)

As far as the "being off every day of the week because he may be a pastor?"
Well, lets just say that conversation we shall save for later years if need be.
