Ava's first set of heels...WooHoo!!
Yesterday the kids went with Mamma to get gifts for each other from the Dollar Store. This is an annual tradition you see. Well Ava was very adamant on her going with them and picking something out herself-which she did and also did great, so I heard.
After the kids got home they all wanted to wrap the gifts and place them under the tree. Of course I had such 'Mommy Brain' last night that I did not even blink an eye or make note that they were doing this.
The kids were all very good, knowing the gifts were under there until I woke up this morning to, "Mommy can Ava open this?"
Mommy, "Uh, No".
Then the kids left the room.

Ava returned on her own with her gift somewhat ripped open. Due to the fact that some of the gift was exposed and her eyes peering at the opening with a curiosity,
I lay there, knowing it was useless to prevent the inevitable...
So the rest is history...here is Ava's early Christmas present from Kayla.I lay there, knowing it was useless to prevent the inevitable...
