UNO ATTACK
Tonight we did have family night. It was game night. We have played a number of games before on game night but tonight I was hoping for something a little different. We ate our quick grilled hot dog dinner then played a new game called UNO Attack. This was a really great game for all to play. It's so much better than regular UNO!! This little machine shoots cards at you and if you get shot at, you add the cards to your stack!
Ava had tried to help Mommy but it really didn't last too long. She was getting tired so we quickly took a break and played freeze tag instead. Then it was time for Ava to go to bed. We then played one more round of UNO Attack and ate chocolate chip cookies. Poor Stefan wasn't feeling too good, but he had a great attitude in persevering for the kids sake.
All in all it was a shorter family night but a good one!!

Keep posting about family nights...we need new ideas!!!! We are trying to keep them from being "movie" nights, because that's not a "family" activity really, so we are looking for ideas. One suggestion the kids love...we have the book 10 Rules of this House. Sometimes on family night we will copy the coloring page (one for each of us) for a rule and we will all color it as we talk about what the rule means and the scripture supporting it. The girls really like it and it's neat to see how different everyone's picture is. The typically don't like coloring much, but it seems different this way and they both really like it.
Dana that is such a neat idea!! To have a scripture supporting each rule and really being creative with it. That is sooo neat!
Thanks for the idea!
Love ya!!
