Well I went this morning to vote! I actually had
to go to two locations because a change of address.
At the first location there was absolutely no line at all. The second we waited for 20minutes or so. Thankfully the Lord held off the rain JUST in time. When we walked out it began to sprinkle!! Thank you Lord!!!!
It was so neat, as the kids and I were driving to go vote, I talked and prayed with the kids about why today was so significant in their lives. It was so neat to have this opportunity to talk about the Sovereignty of God and how God ultimately is the One who chooses who will rule to be President and we must trust in God for that!!
The kids were very interested in voting themselves today! So much so that they voted twice once in each of locations we went to-even Ava!!! I am so glad they had this opportunity to participate and learn about what it means to be a faithful citizen of our country and to trust in the Lord for our future as Christians.

he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;

You said the kids got to vote. How did they do that? Did they have a voting booth set up for kids? Sounds very interesting!

yes they had a booth set up for the kids and their were teenagers who helped fill out in the circles beside the candidates they were voting for. Then at the end of they day the votes were tallied up. Not sure who one for the kids though!
