Today Kayla had her first violin lesson! The lesson consisted of opening her violin case, unwrapping all the tags, and having her teacher tune her violin. She really likes her teacher too. She was very excited! After she got home she quickly put Ava down for her nap and began to play. It was so neat to here her play. Even though it was her first time ever touching a real violin, she really sounded good...she didn't sound real scratchy at all. She was playing actual notes.
Kayla has always had a heart for the violin since she was real little, so it will be neat to see how the Lord develops her gifting for music.
After trying piano, I have this sense, (I don't know if it's from the Lord or not), but she may take off with the violin!! I am grateful for those moments when you see things click and you think, OK now this might just work.
Thank you Lord that she has this opportunity to learn.
